Participation in the competition is free and is open to wineries from six regions of southern Italy, such as Sardinia, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Puglia and Sicily.
Each winery can participate by sending n. 3 bottles for each wine with a maximum of n. 4 labels.
The commission will taste the wines blindly and evaluate them in cents.
The Sud Top Wine award will go to the best three wines for each category.
The award-winning wines will be announced by November 28, 2020 and a special press office will spread the news in traditional media, on the web and on social networks.
The award ceremony will be held on Sunday, November 29 2020 at Hotel Villa Diodoro, during the Taormina Gourmet event, in presence of institutional representatives and several experts.
